Welcome to Game on Girl!
My name is Regina McMenomy and I recently finished my Ph.D. in American Studies from Washington State University. ”Game on Girl” is the culmination of my dissertation research, an exploration of identity and gamer girls through individual interviews. My academic areas of specialization include feminist performance theory, identity formation, and online representation. I live in the Pacific Northwest where you’ll find me gaming on a regular basis (“DocLizz” on Steam and “Sunnybee” on Draenor in World of Warcraft), and attending local cons like PAX and Emerald City ComiCon (ECCC).
